Design of Fast Charging Station with Energy Management for eBuses

The popularity of the eBus has been increasing rapidly in recent years due to its low greenhouse gases (GHG) emissions and dependence on fossil fuels. This incremental use increases burden power grid for charging. Charging requires a high amount feasible time. Therefore, developing fast-charging station (FCS) integrated with Micro Energy Grid (MEG) hybrid energy storage is crucial charging eBuses. paper presents design FCS that integrates MEG management system. To reduce dependency main utility grid, micro based renewable source (i.e., PV) have included. In addition, batteries flywheels also developed mitigate demand during peak Furthermore, multiple-input DC-DC converter managing DC transfer between common bus multiple sources. Finally, an system controller designed achieve extensive performance from fast station. MATLAB Simulink used simulation work overall design. Different test case scenarios are tested evaluating parameters proposed performance.
